City of Normandy Park Comparison Report

Are you interested in knowing how Normandy Park stacks up with it's neighboring cities?  The city of Normandy Park has created a presentation comparing everything from tax rates on business to residential density.  If you're looking to move into the area, you'll definitely want to take a look at this information.

NormandyPark

"The Assessed Value of all property in Normandy Park is well above the average Assessed Value Per Capita of the comparable cities."

Developers Bullish about the City of SeaTac

SeaTac

According to the Seatac Report, a quarterly newsletter published by the city of SeaTac, the city is an attractive place for residential, retail, and commercial projects.

"Current projects just completed, under construction, awaiting permitting, or in the conceptual   phase total 1,600 residential units, 96,000 square feet of retail space, 301,800 square feet of industrial space, 710 hotel rooms, and 4,053 parking spaces".

The SeaTac Report states that the city council has been actively encouraging growth by developing a re-zoning plan near the Sound Transit Station and approving a tax exemption for multi family housing near light rail areas.  For more information about these projects or public hearing dates, please visitwww.ci.seatac.wa.us.

Be on top of your government in Kent

You can keep abreast of what's happening with Kent's city government on TV and online!  In addition to live broadcasts of the Kent City Council meetings and a  variety of different programs Kent TV also runs a "reader board" that includes among other things a calendar of events, public notices and specialty programs.

Be sure you take advantage of this opportunity to be more involved in the decision making process of the city from the comfort of your own home.

Kent Events Center

Kent grows again!  While the Kent Commons enriches our downtown area with it's public recreational facility and cultural activities (among other things) the Kent Events Center will balance that out nicely as our first professional sports arena and home of the Seattle Thunderbirds.  My family can hardly wait to have a major league sports team in town!
